Leave messages but don't clean!

A few people recently have been leaving messages and neighbour requests on my wall, but according to my news feed, they've not bothered to clean! Very annoying!!

Lame!!

We should make a list here of people who do that.

Also, people who tap once and leave a msg saying they've cleaned. Someone did that to me when my city had no stars at all - idiot!

Anyway, I'll be the first to add to the list of not cleaning

Some players post the message that they had cleaned the city when dozens of players before and after obviously posted messages that the city is FULL! I do not mind if you cleaned the remaining buildings if the city is nearly full. You can always check in the news feed.

I too used to get peeved at people saying they cleaned, but you check the feed and they haven't. But I don't think it is always intentional. I have cleaned a city before, left a message. A few hours later that person has cleaned back but I couldn't remember for sure if I had cleaned or not so I went back to check, and it says I haven't cleaned, but when I went to their wall, I said i had. I do not know why, I think it is simply I have lost internet connection for a second or two, not enough to register, so since then if I do get the no internet connection whilst cleaning another person's city I will go back and check. But if I see that happens to me I don't care, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Seriously I can't see why people would go to the effort to go onto peoples walls and write they've cleaned and haven't. The cleaning is faster than posting on peoples wall.

I do the cleaning most of the time without writing on walls. That is bcos i just wanna add or make my star rank remains at 4. i take the rounds in some cities for the benefit of my star . So if u see ur city sparkling but no message in ur wall,means they (or we) just pass to do some cleaning without asking in return cos u already returned the favor by letting us clean ur city and keeping our star ranks 

Don't forget, the News Feed only lists the last ten players that have cleaned your city. So a person may have posted that they have cleaned your city on your wall but not be shown on the News Feed because their name has dropped off this list as the News Feed updates.

Also, and this has happened to me quite often, you may well be cleaning a city at the same time as someone else. When this happens, your clean may well not register even though you think you have cleaned !

So the lesson here, give people the benefit of the doubt. I am quite sure that they are not intentionally misleading you. It serves no purpose and it is a game after all !
